Sandi Toksvig Quits the 'Great British Bake Off'

Don't let its delightful treats and warm hug of politeness fool you — the Great British Bake Off is dramatic as all hell, both inside the tent and out of it. Aside from all of the soggy bottoms and binned biscuits on the show, its production has involved myriad highs and lows. Today's salacious piece of pie is the news that Sandi Toksvig has quit the show.Sandi joined Noel Fielding as a presenter on the show after it switched from the BBC to Channel 4 for Season 8. Now, after appearing on 51 episodes, she's decided to move on with her life.
Sandi announced her departure on Twitter, explaining that she'd like to pursue other projects:

Fielding shared a heartfelt send off to his co-host:
