Prince's Estate Shares Artist's Message Against Racial Intolerance

In honour of what would have been Prince's 62nd birthday, today, the late artist's estate has shared a message about racial intolerance from his personal archives."Prince dedicated his life to speaking out against injustice, advocating for black excellence, and spreading the message of 'Love 4 One Another,'" the artist's estate wrote on Twitter. "In this note that he kept in his personal archives, he wrote a message that still resonates today."
Alongside a handwritten note that reads "Nothing more ugly in the whole wide world than INTOLERANCE," the estate has also shared an updated version of the artist's 2015 track, "Baltimore," which was recorded following the death of Freddie Gray, who passed away after being arrested by the Baltimore Police Department earlier that year.
Late last month, the estate also shared a message in memory of George Floyd, who also died following a violent interaction with police.

Prince performed this mournful version of "Dreamer" at his Dance Rally 4 Peace at @PaisleyPark on May 2, 2015, held in response to the death of Freddie Gray. Prince started the concert by saying, "To all those deserving, rest in peace." Rest in peace, George Floyd.
