FKA twigs has teamed up with beloved Atlanta director Hiro Murai for her latest visual adventure — a seven-minute fantasy short for her song "Sad Day." And spoiler: there are swords — a lot of them.

The video for the MAGDALENE track, in fact, follows "three years of training in the art of Wushu for FKA twigs, who originally took up the discipline in 2017 under the guidance of Master Wu of the Shaolin Wushu Centre, the highest ranking Wushu master in the west," according to the press release.

FKA twigs herself states: "Everything I've previously done with my body, all the training and dancing, has led to this point."

As you'll see, the "Sad Day" clip feature twigs in London as she battles video co-star Teake. It's all more than a little intense, and you can watch all the swordplay go down below.
